This is the last challenge of the
OWH Presidents' Day Weekend Virtual Card Making Party. I'm really sad to see it end! I love VCMPs because they get my mojo flowing and I can get inspired by everyone else's take on the challenge, too. This weekend I created, but throughout the week and next weekend I plan to look at all the cards that everyone else made to get some great ideas. And oh boy, did I need ideas for
Glitz & Glam! I'm not a "foo-foo" kind of girl so glitz and glam is difficult for me. I made a flower from circle and scalloped circle punches and added some bling in the center - - that was the best I could do for now. Maybe I'll come back during the week and add something better after being inspired by others' submissions.
The camera did something weird to the colors.
The ric rac matches the card stock much better than it appears in this photo!
You and Donna must have had extra caffeine with all the cool cards yal did. I'm still trying to get back into the groove. Taking care of DH has taken up a lot of extra time. I'm so overwhelmed with all the cards. I tried to find the sketch challenge you talked about for Sunday and still can't find that one...haha I have things with wheels, zigzag and child's images but oh dear...where to put them. You did such a wonderful job on all the cards. PS. You said you add one roll of that washi tape...that's one more than what I have ...lol
ReplyDeleteI am so with you Allison! I don't do much glitz & glam either! Nicely done on this one!
ReplyDeleteI am trolling through the glitz and glam cards too hoping for inspiration. I ended up working quite a bit more than I expected so fell way behind in the challenges...I have 3 more to go...but have been stumped by this one. I think you did a great job though with the challenge.
ReplyDeleteHi! I think this definitely has a Glitz & Glam feel with that graphic print and fab sentiment. The rhinestone tops it off perfectly. There were SO many great challenge ideas at the VCMP! Thanks for making it happen!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the challenge, Allison. I think you did great. Thanks so much for the VCMP. It was so fun!
