Designed 2 Delight - Lovely Day

Faith, in all of her generosity, has once again outdone herself.  We received the Lovely Tree image for free for playing along with the progressive challenge at Designed 2 Delight, but this week she also gave us a coupon code to buy the whole set for just $1.  Thank you, Faith!  Now, don't you want to start playing along, too?!  This week, you have an entire extra week to submit your creations.  The deadline has been extended to Thursday, November 3!

The set is just adorable and I chose to use the owl - for my mom.  My mom used to collect owls back in the 70's so our house was full of owl pictures and knick knacks along with hanging plants in macrame baskets - Come on all you kids of the 70's, let's hear you - woot woot!  I can't believe that owls are making such a comeback...what goes around, comes around, right?!

The colors on my card look a little different in real life.  The background is a very dark purple and the piece on top is a lavender color cardstock.
