Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Operation Write Home Fundraiser Blog Hop! You can start with my blog or from the beginning of the hop at Jan Hunnicutt's blog.
News Alert: There is now another way to win a K 'n K digital stamp set. Go to this post and grab the OWH Fundraiser badge and get the details of how to enter to win!
The card I made today uses Deedee Anderson's snowman image which has quite a few cute sentiments to go with it. Since it's too late to send Christmas cards to OWH now (deadline is October 31), I used a more generic sentiment. It says, "Warm Winter Wishes (But Not TOO Warm)." You can send winter themed cards to OWH through November and December.
Challenges Entered:
Crafting When We Can - Christmas Come Early
Copic markers - B91, B95, YR04, R22, R24, R29
Cuttlebug embossing folder - Snowflakes
Nestabilities - oval, long rectangle, long scalloped rectangle
Colorbox chalk ink - white over the embossing, red on the sentiment
Oh I like this!! That's cool what you did with the embossed background, and I like how you popped the snowman up a little! :) I'm looking forward to the blog hop tomorrow! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Allison! I love how you used an oval to layer the snowman, and the sponging on the background. Really cute!
ReplyDeleteYour coloring of the snowman turned out awesome! I've got a set of Valentine/Love cards ready for our next meetup at Cat's. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love that snowman.
