It was truly serendipity to find that this month's new releases at Doodle Pantry included so many Texas themed images during the month when I am the guest designer! Not only did Laurie create one of the cutest armadillo images ever, she also pays homage to the state as a whole with the set called Texas. My favorite though has to be the Bluebonnet set.
Bluebonnets always remind me of my dear grandmother who died just as my daughter was turning one! My grandmother was a Texan through and through who was transplanted to the northeast but NEVER lost her accent. She loved all things Texas but especially bluebonnets. Every spring when the bluebonnets blossom, my daughter and I talk about my grandmother and how much she loved bluebonnets.
Gorgeous card and a sweet story about your Grandmother. I love bluebonnets too. What Texan doesn't? Have a wonderful Sunday!
