K 'n K Fundraiser for Operation Write Home

Hello, friends!  Today is a special day because it kicks off a benefit for Operation Write Home!  For those of you who aren't familiar with Operation Write Home, they are a non-profit group that collects handmade cards (over a million, so far!) to send to our soldiers deployed overseas.  Some of them are AnyHero cards that we write in to say "thanks for serving" (like my card below), but most of the cards are left blank so the soldiers can send them back to their families and friends stateside.  It's a fantastic organization, and one that I am proud to say that I've been involved with since January 2011!  But, in order to send the thousands of cards that will go out during the holidays, they could REALLY use some extra funds for shipping.  They estimate they will need $13,000 just for the holiday season.  That is where two digi designers would like to help.  Katlyn of K 'n K Designs has teamed up with Deedee Anderson to offer a set of 7 digital images that are perfect for your OWH cards - or any cards for that matter!  All of the proceeds (less the PayPal fees, of course) will be donated to OWH - every bit of it!  You can buy the sets separately or in a bundle.  Go check out K 'n K Designs for all of the details!  THANKS!!!

The card I made today to showcase the OWH Fundraiser is by Deedee Anderson.  I used Copic markers to color the image and paired it with We R Memory Keepers Yankee Doodles collection of paper (an absolute favorite for any OWH cards!).  Thanks for supporting Operation Write Home's efforts!
